Not All Points North 2020

Start your ride at any time on Saturday, 5th September.

From any of the nine control points OR Sheaf Square, Sheffield train station

We want to make it as easy as possible for people to take part whilst also trying to reduce people’s need to drive to Sheffield in order to start, so instead of starting the event from Heeley, we want you to start and end your ride from the control that’s nearest to your home.

We understand that this makes life easier for riders who live in the north of England, so our tenth control will now be Sheaf Square, outside Sheffield train station which will hopefully encourage a few of you to arrive by train rather than driving up to Sheffield.

This means that if you don’t start your ride at Sheaf Square, you’ll need to visit it as your tenth control instead.

There’ll be no 72-hour time limit, we’re just going to leave it open-ended. So ride it as fast or as slow as you want to – take a little tour around our beautiful North rather than rushing to be the first person back.

Register your interest to ride by completing the entry form.

Then all you have to do is ride your route, visiting all 10 controls (including Sheaf Square) as fast or as slow as you want, on-road, off-road – it’s up to you.

We’ll email you a control question sheet two days beforehand as there’ll be a question to answer when you arrive at each of the controls.

We’d also like you to document your arrival at each control with a photo and share it on Instagram along with the hashtag #NotAPN20

We’ll have a few spot prizes up for grabs but there’s no prize for finishing first, so there’s no need to rush, just enjoy the ride.

To be classed as a finisher all you have to do is finish your ride at the same control you started from, send us a photo of your completed question sheet and upload your ride to Komoot before Thursday, 17th September. We’ll compile a list of everyone who took part on our website with a link to your Komoot ride.
